No idea what Amazon & FaceBook look like... and probably couldn't tell you if I did. ;) There are already people creating Amazon wishlist things, and I suspect you'll see FB apps like "My Reviews" or "My Lists" or whatnot (probably already there for all I know... I should look!). Perhaps something around birthdays or Christmas might work... e.g. use FaceBook as a way to surface Christmas wish lists for friends to one another or something.

Funny I was thinking the same thing: woohoo I made Mini-MSFT!

My personal jury is still out on Facebook, too much of a silo for my tastes, and the notion of "apps" that constantly have to be installed and maintained seems to be the wrong approach. A good question: where does Amazon fit in with FB? Does Amazon rebuild a whole infrastructure inside of FB, or can sites with vibrant but perhaps incomplete communities (maybe even unknowing communities: the set of all purchasers of a certain book) make advances to connect those communities together - even across boundaries (Amazon users who are interested in a lecture at the Town Hall in Seattle)?

Facebook is a step in the right direction, but not the destination, at least not yet.
