Yes, I’m a Jazz fan. And today, my Jazz did something I haven’t seen since Stockton to Malone: they won a playoff series! In fact, after dropping home court and limping into the playoffs, they came back from 0-2 and beat a team I rather despise: Houston. McGrady? Yao? Did great at home for games 1, 2, and 5, but came up a bit short in Game 7, where it counts. And now we have a new set of Jazz players to root for — Carlos Boozer, Matt Harpring, Mehmet Okur, Andrei Kirilenko, and Derek (isn’t he a Laker?) Fisher. Gotta love it!
Next: on to Golden State, the team that did the world a favor and knocked off the #1 seeded Dallas Mavericks!
